Your car was repaired. It's still worth less.

If another driver caused the accident, you may be able to claim that lost value. We check your case for free and connect you with an independent attorney who handles diminished value claims.

Free case check · No obligation · No fee unless the attorney recovers money

What “diminished value” means

Example
Value before the accident$31,200
Value after repair$26,900
Lost value$4,300
Example numbers only. Every car and every case is different; only an attorney can tell you whether you have a claim.

Does this sound familiar?

The shop fixed everything. The dealer still offered thousands less on trade-in.

The insurance company paid for repairs and said that's all you get.

The accident now shows on the vehicle history report, and buyers notice.

Nobody told you that you could ask for the lost value.

This is for you if

  • another driver caused the accident
  • your car was repaired, not totaled
  • the accident was recent

We can't help if

  • you caused the accident
  • the car was declared a total loss

Not sure who was at fault? That's fine. We'll ask.

How it works

You start it in under a minute. The attorney does the rest.

  1. Tell us what happened

Name, phone and a few words about the accident. Under a minute.

  2. We call you back

In English or Russian. We ask about the car, the repairs and who was at fault, and check whether your case fits.

  3. The attorney handles the claim

With your permission, we send your case to our partner attorney. If they take it, they arrange the appraisal and deal with the insurance company for you. You just send the documents you have.

  4. You get paid

If the claim succeeds, you receive the money for your car's lost value, minus the attorney's percentage. No recovery, no fee.

The details, plainly

Who handles your claim

An independent attorney whose practice focuses on diminished value claims. Car Value Help screens and introduces; the attorney does the legal work.

What it costs you

Nothing upfront. The firm works for a percentage of what it recovers. No recovery, no fee.

What we ask about

Who caused the accident, when and where, the car's year, make and model, and whether repairs are done.

What to have ready

The repair estimate or invoice, photos of the damage, and the insurance claim number, if you have them.

Questions people ask

Don't see yours? Ask us on the call.

(800) 000-0000
How does the attorney get paid?

The attorney takes a percentage of what they recover for you. If there's no recovery, you don't owe them anything. Our check is free either way.

How long does a claim take?

In our partner attorney's experience, most claims settle in two to three months. Every case is different, so yours may be faster or slower.

Will I have to go to court?

Probably not. The vast majority of claims are settled out of court.

Will my insurance rates go up?

The claim is made against the at-fault driver's insurance company, not yours.

What if I already have an injury lawyer?

That's fine. A diminished value claim is separate from an injury claim, so your injury lawyer can keep handling that part.

Do I need to sell my car to collect?

No. You don't have to sell your car to make a claim.

Is Car Value Help a law firm?

No. We're a screening and introduction service. We ask the questions, and with your permission we introduce you to an independent attorney, who decides whether to take your case.
